Bakewell is the largest municipality of the province of Grosseto and is one of the most beautiful and evocative of the Maremma is largely thanks to the wonderful landscapes that can be glimpsed from the town ranging from the mountain valleys of the Amiata Fiora, a Talamone to the shores of Montalto di Castro, the island of Giglio a Montecristo to Corsica. With this extension the immense landscape is varied as you can see, coming from the coast along the flood plain which is used for agricultural purposes while heading to the interior terrain starts corrugated giving rise to many small hills where olive groves secular and vineyards will range forests and large areas of the Mediterranean. The country hosts the Museum of Prehistory and Protostoria where we kept some exhibits dating back to prehistoric period, which came out in the valley of Fiora and other territory near Grosseto.
